C 314322 (“Symfio”, “we”, “us”), uses cookies and similar technologies on symfio.app.
symfio s.r.o. is the data controller for personal data processed through cookies on this website.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They let the site recognise your device, remember your preferences, and collect information about how the site is used.
Some of the tools described below also rely on related technologies that work in a similar way: browser local storage, and tracking pixels embedded in our pages. Where this policy says “cookies”, it covers those too.
Cookies set by symfio.app are first-party cookies. Cookies set by other companies whose services we use are third-party cookies; those companies may be able to read them on other websites you visit.
2. Your choices and how to change them
When you first visit symfio.app, a consent banner lets you accept or reject each category of cookie.
- Strictly necessary cookies are always active. They are needed to deliver the website you asked for and do not depend on your consent.
- All other categories are switched off by default. The tags that set them are held back by consent checks in our tag manager and only run once you have agreed to the relevant category.
You can change or withdraw your consent at any time, and withdrawing is as easy as giving it. Use the Cookie settings link in the site footer to reopen the preference panel and change any category. Changes take effect immediately, and cookies belonging to a category you switch off are no longer used.
Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of anything we did while your consent was valid. We will ask you to confirm your preferences again after 12 months, or sooner if we materially change the cookies we use.
Browser controls. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. These controls apply to every website, not only ours. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop parts of symfio.app working. For example submitting the proposal request or newsletter form.
3. The categories of cookies we use

Needed for the basic operation of the site: keeping your session secure, protecting our forms against automated and spam submissions, retaining what you have entered while you complete the proposal questionnaire, remembering whether you are viewing the Czech or English version, and storing your cookie preferences so we do not ask again on every page.
Some of these cookies contain identifiers that count as personal data. We use them only to run the website, never for analytics, profiling or advertising.
Because the site cannot be delivered without them, these cookies cannot be switched off.
Functional
Consent required
Support optional features rather than the basic operation of the site.
We use HubSpot (HubSpot Ireland Limited) to handle newsletter sign-ups and proposal requests, and to recognise a returning visitor so that an enquiry can be linked to earlier visits. HubSpot may transfer data to the United States under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.
If you decline this category, the forms still work, we simply will not connect your visit to any previous one.

Interaction tracking. With your consent to this category, we also record when you click, or copy to your clipboard, our email address info@symfio.app or our phone number, so we can see which pages lead to contact.
Google Analytics, Clarity and Leadfeeder may involve transfers of personal data outside the European Economic Area, chiefly to the United States, under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses.

5. Embedded content and outbound links
Our footer links to our LinkedIn company page and our documentation at symfio.atlassian.net. These are ordinary links: they set no cookies until you follow them, at which point the destination site’s own policy applies.
6. Legal basis
Strictly necessary cookies are used on the basis of our legitimate interest in providing a secure, working website. They are exempt from the consent requirement under Article 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive, implemented in Section 89(3) of Czech Act No. 127/2005 Coll., on Electronic Communications, as amended.
All other cookies are used on the basis of your consent under Article 6(1)(a) of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR). You may withdraw that consent at any time as described in section 2.
Our advertising partners also process the data they collect for their own purposes as independent controllers. Where we and a partner jointly determine the purposes of processing, as with Meta and LinkedIn conversion measurement, we do so under the joint-controller arrangements those providers publish.
7. Your rights
Where cookies process personal data you have the right of access, and the rights to rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and data portability. Our GDPR / Privacy Policy explains how to exercise them and includes a request form.
You may also complain to the Office for Personal Data Protection (Úřad pro ochranu osobních údajů), Pplk. Sochora 27, 170 00 Praha 7, or to the supervisory authority where you live.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes in the cookies we use or in the law. We will change the date at the top of this page and, where the changes are material, ask for your consent again.
