• New Executive Summary: Offers significantly greater customization options and easy dashboard sharing across users.
• Flexible report building: Assemble any report you need in one place (such as an instant comparison of adjusted vs. plan data).
• In-system commenting: The ability to add insights and comments directly to the P&L statement or to variances in plans and forecasts.
• Manual journal adjustments: You no longer need to book everything in your primary ERP right away. You can flexibly add your own manual entries directly into the Symfio journal.

The Five-Layer Architecture

The core of version 2.0 is the expansion of the product into five interconnected layers that fully cover the needs of modern financial management:

1. Data infrastructure: Data from all sources (accounting systems, ERPs, plans, forecasts, and other custom sources) is reconciled, up to date, and available in one place within a few clicks. The controller focuses on numbers, not exports and VLOOKUPs.
2. Metrics: Set up and customize margins, debt ratios, EBITDA, and other indicators precisely according to the specifics of your business.
3. Planning and forecasting: Create budgets and financial outlooks directly in Symfio using live data, without complex manual copying.
4. Custom dashboards and data sources: For highly specific needs, we can extend Symfio through our partner network to include any custom analytics required.
5. Advanced month-end closing control: The system now includes automated processes for monthly checks. It flags discrepancies in management accounting before they cost the company real money, serving as direct support for the human team.

The first three layers (data, metrics, and planning) are already active in Symfio today. In version 2.0, however, they have undergone a complete technological upgrade. Working with reports is significantly faster, and system response times when processing large volumes of data are instantaneous. The real revolution comes with layers four and five.
