Build anything on top of Symfio. We are opening the API for beta.

The Symfio API is in the final phase of testing. We are looking for pilot users who want to build their own visualisations, dashboards or integrations on top of our data layer. Why we are opening it

Symfio turns raw accounting data from different ERP systems into one consistent, structured and daily updated data layer – whether you have one company or fifty across different accounting systems. Until now you accessed it through our reports, dashboards and exports. Now we are opening it directly.

What you can build on the API

• The only real limit is imagination. A few scenarios we know people are doing or considering:
• Custom dashboards in AI-native tools. Lovable, Bolt, v0, Retool. A prototype in a few hours, a finished app in a weekend.
• Connecting Power BI, Tableau or Looker. If you already have a company BI stack, bring Symfio data into it without manual exports and reconciliation.
• Custom alerts and automation. Slack / Teams notifications when a metric crosses a threshold. Automatic escalation to the board. Triggering workflows in Make or Zapier.
• Embedded reports for clients. PE funds, external CFOs, accounting firms – get Symfio data into the interface your clients are used to.
• A feed for ML and forecasting models. Clean, reconciled data as input to your own prediction systems.

Why Symfio data

Building a dashboard in Lovable is trivial today. Getting clean, reliable, consolidated financial data across dozens of entities and different accounting software is not. Symfio does that hard work, and the API opens it up.

Updated daily, and we stand behind it

The data is fresh every day. We guarantee it is correct. No “give it a moment, something didn’t come through” – if something changes in the accounting, it comes through and the API returns the correct state.

Structure, not raw data

Do you have one company or ten with different accounting software? On the API you work with finished, mapped data. No normalisation, no unifying charts of accounts, no reconciliation – we do that part of the work for you.

Consistency when things change

A new account? A new subsidiary? New mapping? The API returns the same structure your application expects. You don’t have to rewrite the logic every time the finance department changes something.

Enterprise-grade authorisation

Auditable tokens, access control by entity, rate limiting. Everything you would expect from a financial API.

Who is a good fit for the beta

We are in the final phase of testing and are looking for a few pilot users – ideally ones who:

• have a specific use case and want to build it while still in beta
• can give us good feedback on the interface, the data structures and what is missing
• have an internal team or contacts who can connect it (or can click it together themselves in Lovable – that works too)

You don’t have to be a software company. Today, Claude or Lovable will write hundreds of lines of code for you – our goal is for the API to be so usable that you can build a prototype in an afternoon.
