Symfio now has official documentation!

We have launched the first version of the official Symfio documentation. We see it as the kick-off of a long-term process, in which we will expand and improve it regularly every week, until we turn the documentation into a fully comprehensive and practical guide for all users of the platform.

The goal is to simplify putting Symfio into practice, speed up team onboarding and reduce reliance on individual training or ad hoc consultations. The documentation is meant to be a clear reference point for everyday work with financial data, reporting and group structures.

What the current documentation contains

The basic guides cover the key steps for the first rollout and day-to-day operation of the platform.

You’ll find the procedure for adding a company to Symfio and setting up the basic data structure. There is also a guide to importing data from Excel, which lets you get historical and operational data into the system without retyping. It also covers connecting and automatically importing from the ABRA Flexi accounting system, including recommendations for checking and validating data. A separate part covers setting up group structures, intercompany relationships and consolidated outputs for management and reporting.

Who the documentation is for

The documentation is designed for CFOs and finance managers who want to set up reporting and data structures quickly, for accountants and analysts working with imports and data checks, for new clients during onboarding and for technical teams dealing with integrations and system connections.

Future development

The documentation will be extended every week with new guides, features and advanced scenarios. The goal is to create a practical, long-maintained knowledge base that supports the scaling of Symfio and its use in complex company and group structures.
