The Actual columns are not entered by anyone. Symfio calculates them from the company’s accounting every time the plan opens.
- The company’s accounting journal is loaded from the connector into Symfio (Source data › Accounting journal).
- The account mapping (company detail › Categorization › Mapping) assigns PL Type, Category and Subcategories to each account.
- When the plan opens, Symfio sums the movements of income statement accounts per month by the selected dimensions. History rows are created; empty combinations are not.
- Movements on accounts without an assigned PL Type do not enter the plan, hence the note “Data without assigned PL Type are excluded”. Balance sheet accounts are not part of the plan.
History is calculated from current data. When the mapping changes or an older month is booked, the Actual columns reflect it after reload. Saved planned values stay unchanged.
Group plan: a plan is always for one company and its history contains only that company’s own accounting (for a holding without subsidiaries). A group view comes from adding up company plans in statements; mark intragroup rows with the Intercompany level.
